SRC and SRA rotating screws are used to empty the residual cone in the interior of flat bottom silos.
In bunkers with a flat bottom, product discharge is carried out in several stages. Firstly, most of the product is discharged by gravity through the central opening, and secondly, the side funnels are used, starting with the one closest to the central one. As soon as the second stage is completed and grain remains inside the silo that cannot be discharged by gravity (residual cone), a sweep screw is applied. The rotating screw allows the grain residues to be transported from the periphery of the silo to the central hopper without operator intervention inside.
