The flat bottom silo (FP series) is used for storing cereals with a maximum bulk density of 0.85 t / m3 and is installed on a concrete foundation where ventilation ducts can be designed.
Loading is carried out through the central dome both by gravity pipe and by means of a conveyor located on a special gallery. The unloading of the silo is carried out due to mechanical conveyor devices located both in underground tunnels and in channels located in the foundation.
In silos of larger size and height, an unloading gravity pipe (usually installed on the 10th ring) can be set on the side for partial unloading of the silo.
